Changelog v1.1.0 - Steam Launch
Version 1.1.0 comes with tons of small improvements. In addition, the game is launching on Steam, so I've skipped version 1.0.9 and gone directly to version 1.1.0.
One of most notable changes in v1.1.0 is the removal of the self destruct feature (since it only existed in case the player got stuck, but now the player can escape the level using the Escape key to bring up a pause menu). Another big change is that the bonus areas now have distinct graphics to help convey that they are bonus areas. For the rest of the changes that come with this version of the game, read the full changelog at the bottom of this post.
Starting with v1.1.0, the game will be available on itch.io as both a standalone exe and an installer. In addition, the soundtrack is now available in both MP3 and WAV format.
Starting with v1.1.0, the game will now be available to purchase on Steam. Buying the game through itch.io will give users access to the standalone exe and installer files as well as a Steam key. Users who have previously purchased the game will also be able to get a Steam key. See this page for instructions on how to find and activate a Steam key.
Running the game from any source (on the same computer) will allow you to continue playing on the profiles you've created, since the save files are located here: C:\Users\<Your Username>\AppData\Local\The_True_Slime_King

- The goo sprites for the bonus zones in the minimap now match the actual bonus goo sprites.
- Bonus areas now have unique walls and unique background tiles to distinguish them (in overworld and in levels).

- Fixed bug in quick play level select where campaign levels would draw on top of the interface.
- Cursor no longer hides after inactivity in the quick play select level screen.
