Changelog v1.0.9

  • Added pink goo to the sprites for the overworld bonus locks.
  • Added bonus goo to the level editor objects.
  • Added animation for player squishing into walls while sliding horizontally along the floor and ceiling.
  • Player landing sound now plays when hitting the floor/ceiling while touching the wall.
  • When slime buddies are freed from walls, their jump is now animated rather than just a square sprite.

  • Reworked sprites for descender blocks.

  • Reworked sprites for buttons.

  • Sidebar icons for sound and music now turn gray when sliders are at zero.
  • Bonus goo for the bonus levels doesn't unlock permanently, and has been given a unique sprite (for the regular bonus goos as well as the bonus wall goo).
  • Made text in quick play level select larger.
  • Beautified the font for tips.
  • The sidebar doesn't retract when dragging a slider and the mouse goes outside the sidebar.

Bug fixes:

  • Fixed issue with player not sticking to laser walls.
  • Fixed bug with mushroom bugs not being placed correctly in the level editor.
  • Fixed bug with bonus goo not being unlocked properly.
  • Fixed bug where freed buddies could fall through walls that were outside the view.
  • If the level file the user selects doesn't end in ".json", then it is automatically appended to the file when the user saves.
  • Fixed a bug where trying to skip a cutscene by holding escape would try to bring up the pause menu and crash the game.
  • Instant replay no longer draws player in front of sidebar.
  • Fixed bug in quick play level select where campaign levels would draw on top of the interface.
  • Cursor no longer hides after inactivity in the quick play select level screen.
  • Moved the position of where custom levels are displayed in quick select so that they don't overlap with the text at the bottom of the screen.

  • Fixed bug with not being able to play boss levels in quick play mode.
  • Fixed bug where going from one zone to another, entering a level, pressing escape, and going to the main menu would leave the game thinking the player was still in the previous zone.
